In order to get on my feet as fast as possible with this blog, I have chosen to use a template I created for the Wordpress community that is available for download. This Blog will be connected to my main portfolio page and vice versa once I finish a customized blog design for myself. This will be an especially interesting project as it has been quite a while since I made a website for myself and not for a client. My portfolio page was made for myself of course and I enjoyed the process tremendously though at times I found myself caught up with very small details due to my personal investment into the project.
I will try to attempt to take a more objective perspective in creating my new design for this Wordpress blog in order to circumvent some of the problems I ran into with my portfolio. I want it to be very creative and unique so it will probably take roughly around a month until I create a design that I feel solid enough to represent me.
In order to kick the blog off, I will detail how I go from nothing to creating a blog. I will make special note to include the emotional and mental processes of creating a design. I find the whole process of creating a new design to be both rewarding and very taxing to the mind so it will be very interesting to see what I create and what is involved besides the technical know-how.
